Paradistinction is an electronic music project from Prince Edward Island, Canada, exploring the emotional side of melodic and progressive house.
Built around atmospheric synthesizers, deep basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and understated vocals, Paradistinction creates music that gives listeners somewhere to escape. Each track takes its time, allowing melodies to develop naturally and emotions to build without relying on conventional song structures.
The debut single, Leave the World Outside, introduces the project's sound through a mixture of melancholy, warmth, and euphoria. It's about finding a moment of peace when everything around you feels overwhelming.
With subtle influences from the coastal landscapes of Atlantic Canada, Paradistinction brings a personal sense of place to electronic music, creating something equally suited to late-night drives, quiet reflection, and getting lost in the music.
